Bio
I have a bachelor's degree in art and elementary education from Grinnell College and a masters degree in advertising design from Syracuse University.
I have worked as a designer in various settings for over 40 years: with other designers in small studios, at the University of Georgia as a design and production manager, and as the owner of my own business, Iris Graphics and now ELWalkerDesign.
I have also taught kindergarten, first and fourth grades in public schools and have been the business manager of several non-profit organizations.
I am now focusing my professional life on my first love - finding ways to communicate visually, simply, beautifully, and clearly.
